God of war, law & justice

Tyr is a war god who represents the ideals of law, justice and heroic glory. He is considered the bravest of the gods having sacrificed his right hand to Fenrir who bit it off. Fenrir did this after the other gods broke their promise to release him from the unbreakable rope, Gleipnir, once he proved unable to free himself. Tyr began as the chief god in the Norse pantheon but was later usurped by Odin.
